“Lifting Our Lineage”;
A Photographic-Collage Art Making Experience
Suggestion for Attendees: Please bring copies or originals of family* photos to the workshop that you would like to consider working with (and don’t mind cutting or altering). If bringing your own images is an unavailable option, a range of diverse images will be provided.
Family can mean not just those who are blood, but also those who are dear to us.
Together we will begin to explore an introduction to working with photography and photos using mixed media collage, in a healing capacity.
If you have ever been interested in photo collage or a mixed media process please consider creating with us!
Through this photographic-collage healing experience we will set our individual intentions and explore what “Lifting Our Lineage” may mean for us, personally.
In this reflective and meditative process we will create a special space, a container, to reflect on those who are special to us and those who came before us.
How do we honor those who have past?
Maybe there is someone you would like to hold in remembrance?
Perhaps there is a place to hold and process grief?
The meaning-making is up to you!
May the journey of exploring healing our family lines, begin with us.
As we begin to move out of art making, we will do a brief sharing of our creating experience and collage-making.
Those who feel comfortable to share are invited to do so!
Engage, Elevate, Emerge.
