Fronted by the dynamic trio of sisters – Dorothy (vocals, lyrics, synth), Carla (drums, electronic beats, synth), and Natasha (guitar, bass, backup vocals) – Lindy Vision is a timeless and innovative band that creates new-wave inspired, 80’s-esque disco music reminiscent of Blondie and Depeche Mode.
The three sisters are all self-taught musicians who have been writing and performing their own music together for nearly half a decade. During this time, they have perfected their songwriting and versatility as artists and have written dozens of original compositions ranging from disco to pop to punk. The term “Lindy” was inspired by the autobiography of Malcolm X and the “Vision” comes from the band’s shared personal mantra to never stop dreaming. Lindy Vision affectionately refers to their followers as “Visionaries.”
All of Lindy Vision’s music is self-written, self-produced, and self-released. Lindy Vision’s latest fourth album Jute was self-released in July 2017. The band celebrated the release of their single “Pressure” in December 2018 and will release Part I of their much-anticipated double-disc album, Adult Children, in February 2019.
