Couples Art Therapy Workshop
Thursday, May 16th
8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
- This event has passed.
Bryan Ko, art therapy graduate student from Southwestern College, will facilitate this three-part art therapy-inspired process. This workshop is based on concepts from both art therapy and couples therapy, and will have participants engaging in fun, informative, and captivating art experientials that were co-designed by Bryan Ko and Alyssa Gursky, art therapy graduate student from Naropa University.
- Each class will take place alongside Meow Wolf’s Adult Night, and will incorporate and include access to the House of Eternal Return. Couples will participate in art experientials alongside other couples, gaining new insight into the past, present, and future of their relationships.
- Participants will receive relevant psychoeducation around couples therapy-related topics, and come away with art experientials that they can use at home.
- “Couples” is defined loosely, and can include spouses, long-term partners, or those who have recently met.
- This workshop is intended to be inclusive to people of all genders, sexual orientation, and relationship styles.
The 35$ fee is for ONE PARTICIPANT and will include all three classes, taking place on April 18th, May 2nd, and May 18th, from 8-10pm. Each member of a couple must purchase a ticket.
Fellow Southwestern College students may not attend this workshop due to the practicum/internship rules. Please email email@example.com with any questions.
