COUPLES ART THERAPY WORKSHOP
HALLOWEEN COSTUME EDITION!
Couples will participate in art and costuming experientials alongside other couples, gaining new insight into the past, present, and future of their relationships. All materials provided.
Bryan Ko, Art Therapy graduate from Southwestern College, will facilitate this art therapy-inspired process. This workshop is based on concepts from both art therapy and couples therapy, and will have participants engaging in fun, informative, and captivating art experientials that were co-designed and compiled by Bryan and Alyssa Gursky.
Each class will take place alongside Meow Wolf’s Adult Night, and will incorporate and include access to the House of Eternal Return. Couples will participate in art experientials alongside other couples, gaining new insight into the past, present, and future of their relationships.
Participants will receive relevant psychoeducation around couples therapy-related topics, and come away with art experientials that they can use at home. “Couples” is defined loosely, and can include spouses, long-term partners, or those who have recently met. Art experientials will be accessible for couples of all ages 21+, LGBTQIA friendly, and can be made accessible for individuals with alternative relationship styles.
Each drop-in group will cost $25 PER PERSON (not per couple) and will include admission to the House of Eternal Return.
Fellow Southwestern College students may not attend this workshop due to the practicum/internship rules. Please email [email protected] with any questions.
